They do wonders for taking pictures of accidents, emergencies or something that is out of the ordinary, but they really are not meant to take the place of a digital camera. You just kind of have to imagine that you are using a very old film camera and do your best with it. If you really want to capture those moments then you should get yourself a good digital camera and only use the digital phone camera for emergencies or those quick shots that don't need to be works of art.
